Freeman put another one in the bag on Wednesday to keep their perfect season alive. They blew past the Lind-Ritzville/Sprague/Washtucna Broncos 12-2. The Scotties might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won eight matches by seven runs or more this season.

Kaylee Ripke was a major factor no matter where she played. On the mound, she didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out 14 over five innings pitched. She has been consistent for a while: she hasn't given up more than one earned run any time she's pitched this season. She was also big at the plate, going a perfect 4-for-4 with one home run, seven RBI, and two stolen bases.

In other batting news, Rilyn Ripke was incredible, scoring three runs while going 2-for-3. Mckenna Finley was another key player, scoring three runs and stealing a base while getting on base in three of her four plate appearances.

Freeman pushed their record up to 9-0 with the win, which was their third straight at home. The home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.3 runs on average over those games. As for Lind-Ritzville/Sprague/Washtucna, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-7.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Freeman beat the Broncos by a score of 14-1 later that day.
