Soccer Recap: Willamette Comes Up Short

Willamette lost against Sheldon back in October of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Wolverines took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Irish. Willamette have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Willamette's defeat dropped their record down to 1-4-1. As for Sheldon, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-1.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Willamette will face off against rival North Medford at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Sheldon is set to challenge their familiar foe Roseburg at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
