Basketball Game Preview: Booneville Blue Devils vs. Pontotoc Warriors

Booneville has won six straight games at home, while Pontotoc has won six straight on the road, but those streaks won't matter much on Tuesday. The Booneville Blue Devils will welcome the Pontotoc Warriors at 6:00 p.m. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, the two teams will really light up the scoreboard.

Last Thursday, Booneville strolled past Olive Branch with points to spare, taking the game 65-46.

Meanwhile, Pontotoc humbled Corinth with a 70-25 victory. Pontotoc has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 11 matchups by 21 points or more this season.

Booneville is also on a roll lately: they've won 12 of their last 13 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 18-4 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 52.9 points per game. As for Pontotoc, their victory bumped their record up to 17-4.
