Volleyball Recap: Friday's Loss Ends Eads' Winning Streak + How To Watch

If Eads was riding high fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Walsh last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Eagles fell 3-1 to the Cheraw Wolverines on Friday. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Eagles of the 3-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2024.

Eads started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-27, 25-22, 25-16, 25-23.

Their offense was headlined by Kara Wilson and Anna Wollert, who picked up 15 kills apiece. They got some help from Aspen Nelson and her 23 assists. Bailey Sierra and Jordynn Turcotte kept things locked in from the service line: the pair finished with two aces apiece.
