Basketball Recap: Sylvan-Lucas Comes Up Short

If Sylvan-Lucas was riding high fresh off their 57-24 takedown of Lakeside last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Sylvan-Lucas Mustangs took a hard 46-30 fall against the Osborne Bulldogs on Tuesday. The Mustangs were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Bulldogs earlier this season, when they won 58-51.

Sylvan-Lucas' loss dropped their record down to 11-5-1. As for Osborne, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight games, which provided a nice bump to their 13-4-1 record this season.

Looking ahead, Sylvan-Lucas will challenge St. John's/Tipton Catholic at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Osborne does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
