Volleyball Recap: Berkeley Comes Up Short

Berkeley lost against Wando back in September and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Stags came up short against the Warriors, falling 3-0.

The final score came out to 25-8, 25-21, 25-18.

Ava Baker paced Berkeley's offense, picking up seven kills. Baker got some help from Joanna Villeponteaux and her seven assists. Finally, Imani Levey kept Berkeley's defense grounded, leading the team with four blocks.

Berkeley's loss dropped their record down to 4-14. As for Wando, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 14 of their last 16 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 24-8 record this season.

Berkeley will square off against Stratford at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Stags are facing the Knights at the right time seeing as the Knights are stuck on an eight-game losing streak. As for Wando, they will venture away from home to face off against Goose Creek at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
