Softball Recap: Bethlehem Takes a Loss

Bethlehem blew Mercer County out of the water the last time the pair played, but on Saturday Mercer County got their revenge. The Eagles/Banshees fell just short of the Titans by a score of 5-3. The Eagles/Banshees just can't catch a break and have now endured five defeats in a row.

Bethlehem saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Cam Mitchell, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-2.

Bethlehem's loss dropped their record down to 10-6. As for Mercer County, their record now sits at 7-5-1.

Looking ahead, Bethlehem will square off against Perry County Central at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Commodores will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something the Eagles/Banshees surely won't give up without a fight. As for Mercer County, they will head out to square off against Whitley County at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
