Baseball Recap: Inglemoor Finds Home Field Redemption Against Bellevue

Inglemoor's found some homefield redemption this week after a overtime loss to Bothell on Monday. The Vikings blew past the Bellevue Wolverines 7-1. This was a revenge game for the Vikings: when they faced off against the Wolverines back in March, they had to take a 5-3 defeat.

Levi Stark tossed a big game, striking out seven batters over 6.2 innings while giving up just one earned run off four hits. He has been consistent: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in five consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Drew Snider was excellent, getting on base in all three of his plate appearances with two stolen bases and two runs. That's the most runs he has posted since back in March.

Inglemoor hit smart and finished the game with only one strikeout. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Bellevue struck out eight times.

Inglemoor is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-6 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.8 runs on average over those games. As for Bellevue, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 9-8.

Inglemoor has already played their next game, an 8-4 win against Interlake on the 23rd. As for Bellevue, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next matchup, a 12-10 victory against Hazen on the 22nd.
