Basketball Recap: Haverling Takes a Loss

Haverling lost against Dansville back in February of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Haverling Rams fell just short of the Dansville Mustangs by a score of 51-49. While the Rams didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Mustangs 14-9 in the first quarter.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Dansville to victory, but perhaps none more so than Ivan Wolf-Mialky, who dropped a double-double on 13 points and 11 boards. Another player making a difference was Brady Henchen, who went 6 of 13 en route to 18 points.

Haverling has traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-4 record this season. As for Dansville, their victory ended a six-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 2-8.

Haverling wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 59-51 win against York on the 8th. Dansville has also already played their next match, a 61-50 defeat against Mount Morris on the 8th.
