Basketball Recap: Brook Hill Takes a Tough Playoff Loss

Despite a phenomenal run in the regular season, Brook Hill couldn't carry that success into this playoff game. They took a 36-26 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Midland Christian Mustangs on Thursday. The Guard's loss signaled the end of their seven-game winning streak.

Several Guard players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Savannah Onley, who posted three points in addition to six rebounds and three steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Indeya Williams, who had five points along with eight boards and five steals.

Brook Hill's defeat dropped their record down to 35-7. As for Midland Christian, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 16 of their last 17 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 29-7 record this season.

Brook Hill does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Midland Christian, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 64-53 victory against Legacy Prep Christian Academy on the 28th.
