Baseball Recap: Wauseon Has No Trouble Against Antwerp

Wauseon won against Springfield on Thursday with 11 runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Friday. Everything went the Indians' way against the Antwerp Archers as they made off with an 11-1 victory. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Indians also won the last time the pair played back in April of 2023.

The win made it two in a row for Wauseon and bumps their season record up to 7-12. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 3 runs in those games. As for Antwerp, they have been struggling recently as they've lost nine of their last 11 matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-13 record this season.

Wauseon has already played their next game, a 7-5 win against Paulding on the 17th. As for Antwerp, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 12-0 defeat against Wayne Trace on the 17th.
