Baseball Game Preview: Central Tigers vs. Jackson Fighting Indians

Central is 1-9 against Jackson since April of 2017 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Tigers will be playing at home against the Fighting Indians at 4:30 p.m.

Central is headed into the matchup having just suffered their closest defeat since May 11, 2024 on Saturday. They fell just short of Valle Catholic by a score of 3-1. The Tigers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, Jackson got themselves on the board against Lutheran on Saturday, but Lutheran never followed suit. They blew past the Cougars 10-0. Considering the Fighting Indians have won four games by more than six runs this season, Saturday's blowout was nothing new.

Jackson now has a winning record of 6-5. As for Central, their loss dropped their record down to 1-8.
