Football Recap: Eupora Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Eupora extended their losing streak to three on Friday, dropping them down to 6-4. They came up short against the East Webster Wolverines, falling 26-0. The matchup marked the first time this year in which the Eagles were not able to get on the board.

Peyton Perkins threw for 104 yards on nine of 17 attempts. Kj Gary was his top target, picking up 57 receiving yards.

As for East Webster, the victory (which was their ninth in a row) raised their record to 9-1. Those wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 8.4 points on average over those games.

East Webster's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was RT Moye, who rushed for 121 yards and one TD while picking up 7.1 yards per carry. Dakarai Coffey was in the mix too, providing the Wolverines with two touchdowns.

Eupora does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for East Webster, they will be playing at home against Leland at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
