Volleyball Game Preview: Atascadero Greyhounds vs. San Luis Obispo Tigers

Atascadero hasn't had much luck against San Luis Obispo recently, but that could start to change on Thursday. The Greyhounds will venture away from home to square off against the Tigers at 6:00 p.m. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this match.

Last Tuesday, Atascadero came up short against Templeton and fell 3-1. The Greyhounds have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, San Luis Obispo also suffered a loss in their last game, falling to Arroyo Grande by a score of 3-1.

San Luis Obispo came incredibly close to winning: the sets they lost were decided by three points or less. The match finished with set scores of 25-23, 26-28, 25-22, 25-22.

San Luis Obispo's defeat dropped their record down to 21-5. As for Atascadero, their loss dropped their record down to 5-17.

Atascadero suffered a grim 3-0 defeat to San Luis Obispo in their previous meeting back in March. Can the Greyhounds avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
