Softball Recap: Milano Comes Up Short

Milano saw some tournament action on Thursday. They came up short against the Grand Saline Indians, falling 9-1.

Milano saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Mallory Miller, who scored a run while going 1-for-3.

Milano's loss dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Grand Saline, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-3 record this season.

Milano wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next match, a 15-2 win against Buffalo on the 27th. As for Grand Saline, they have also already played their next game, a 3-3 tie against Franklin on the 28th.
