Volleyball Recap: Starmont Starts Season with Win Against Turkey Valley

Starmont had to kick off their season on the road on Thursday, but they showed no ill effects. They skirted past the Turkey Valley Trojans 2-1. The victory continues a trend for the Stars in their matchups with the Trojans: they've now won four in a row.

Turkey Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Starmont will welcome Midland at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Turkey Valley, they will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Postville at 7:30 p.m. on September 11.
