Football Recap: Maysville Find Success

It may have taken triple overtime to finish the job, but Maysville ultimately got the result they hoped for on Friday. In a tight game that could have gone either way, they made off with a 46-45 win over the Graham/Dustin RiverHawk. The Warriors' offense finally found a way to get into gear: the high-octane performance was a 180-degree turn from their last three games.

Maysville's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-3. As for Graham/Dustin, their loss was their fourth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 0-5.

Looking ahead, Maysville will welcome Central at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Warriors will need to watch out since the Bronchos have now posted at least 31 points in their last four matchups. As for Graham/Dustin, they will head out to face off against Bowlegs at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The RiverHawk will be up against the Bison's rather soft defense (which has allowed 43.5 points per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
