Softball Recap: North Wilkes Comes Up Short

North Wilkes fell victim to Forbush and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They came up short against the Falcons, falling 9-0. The Vikings have struggled against the Falcons recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive lost meeting.

North Wilkes now has a losing record of 3-4. As for Forbush, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 12-4.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. North Wilkes will square off against Alleghany at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Vikings are facing the Trojans at the right time seeing as the Trojans are stuck on a 12-game losing streak. As for Forbush, they will face off against West Forsyth at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Titans will roll in looking for their 18th straight victory, something the Falcons surely won't give up without a fight.
