Baseball Recap: McAllen Takes a Loss

McAllen fell victim to Sharyland and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They lost 10-0 to the Sharyland Rattlers. The Bulldogs have struggled against the Rattlers recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive lost meetings.

McAllen's defeat dropped their record down to 3-7-2. As for Sharyland, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 12-1-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. McAllen will take on Rowe at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Rowe will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something McAllen surely won't give up without a fight. As for Sharyland, they will square off against Weslaco at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Weslaco is on a six-game streak of home wins, Sharyland a four-game streak of away wins -- so someone will have to leave a streak behind on the field.
