Basketball Recap: Morgan County Comes Up Short

Morgan County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They took a blow against the Blazer Tomcats, falling 89-42. While losing is never fun, the Cougars can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Kentucky basketball rankings (they are ranked 182nd, while the Tomcats are ranked 34th).

Morgan County's loss dropped their record down to 3-9. As for Blazer, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 12-7.
