Volleyball Recap: Arise Comes Up Short at Home Against KIPP King

Arise unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They lost 3-0 to the KIPP King Lions on Friday. Sadly, the loss continues a streak the team started last season, making it eight in a row.

The match finished with set scores of 25-4, 25-8, 25-6.

The victory keeps KIPP King at an undefeated 4-0.

Arise and KIPP King will both get a bit of extra prep time before their next matchups. The next time Arise sees the court they'll take on AIMS College Prep at 5:00 p.m. on October 3. As for KIPP King, their break will end when they face Griffin Academy at 5:00 p.m. on September 8.
