Pickerington Central had won five straight games and Ayri Pitts did her part to make it six on Tuesday. The Tigers were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Teays Valley Vikings for which the team can thank Pitts, who had five digs and five aces. She has been hot recently, having posted three or more aces the last three times she's played.

The final score came out to 25-17, 25-22, 25-22.

Several Vikings players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Ellie Tatman, who had ten digs and two aces. The team also got some help courtesy of Emma Minton, who had three digs and two aces.

Pickerington Central's victory bumped their record up to 18-3. As for Teays Valley, their loss ended a three-match streak of wins at home and dropped them to 11-10.

Pickerington Central wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 3-0 win against Reynoldsburg on the 9th. As for Teays Valley, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-0 defeat against Logan on the 9th.
