Basketball Recap: Otis-Bison Cougars vs. Central Plains Oilers
Otis-Bison lost against Central Plains back in January of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Otis-Bison Cougars had to suffer through a 57-28 loss at the hands of the Central Plains Oilers. While losing is never fun, the Cougars can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Kansas basketball rankings (they are ranked 316th, while the Oilers are ranked 65th).
Despite the loss, Otis-Bison had strong showings from Briana Croisant, who posted 12 points and six boards, and Destiny Mitchell, who earned seven points and five rebounds.
Otis-Bison dropped their record down to 3-11 with the defeat, which was their fourth straight on the road. As for Central Plains, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last nine contests, which provided a nice bump to their 10-2-1 record this season.
