Gage Thompson posted a new career-high in strikeouts on Friday. As a matter of fact, he produced his best game of the campaign: he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out seven over six innings pitched. What's more, he gave up only zero walks, the fewest he's had since back in April of 2024.
