Soccer Recap: King George Comes Up Short

King George lost against Courtland back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Foxes fell just short of the Cougars by a score of 2-1. That's two games in a row now that King George have lost by just one goal.

This is the second loss in a row for King George and nudges their season record down to 0-3-1. As for Courtland, they now have a winning record of 3-2.

Coming up, King George will head out to face off against Eastern View at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Courtland, they will host Culpeper County at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Culpeper County's last five contests have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
