Hermitage has gone 7-1 against John Marshall recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Monday. The Panthers will challenge the Justices at 5:30 p.m. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, these teams will really light up the scoreboard.
John Marshall will face off against a team with plenty of momentum: Hermitage extended their winning streak to four on Thursday. The Panthers put the hurt on Varina with a sharp 13-2 win. The Panthers not only won on Thursday, but they posted their biggest win since April 22nd (when they won 15-2).

Hermitage got a great performance from Hayden Harris as he didn't allow a single earned run over 4.2 innings pitched. Harris also tossed no earned runs, which is notable because the Panthers are 3-1 when he allows at most three earned runs, but 4-13 otherwise.
On the hitting side, Alejandro Posada was a standout: he went a perfect 3-for-3 with two stolen bases, three RBI, and two runs. That's the most stolen bases he has posted since back in March. Another player making a difference was Christian Cotman, who went 2-for-3 with two stolen bases, three RBI, and two runs.
Hermitage was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .500. That's the best batting average they've posted all season.
John Marshall came out on top against Armstrong on Thursday thanks in part to the team's impressive seven-run third inning. The Justices blew past the Wildcats 14-8. The Justices haven't had any issues with the Wildcats recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive victory against them.
Hermitage's record is now 7-14. As for John Marshall, the win got them back to even at 7-7.
The pitchers for both teams better look sharp on Monday as neither team is afraid to steal. Hermitage has been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 3.9 stolen bases per game. However, it's not like John Marshall struggles in that department as they've been averaging 10.4 stolen bases. The only question left is which team can snag more.
Everything went Hermitage's way against John Marshall when the teams last played back in April of 2025, as Hermitage made off with a 12-2 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Panthers since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
