Basketball Recap: Crossroads Charter Academy's Losing Streak Is a Thing of the Past

Crossroads Charter Academy can bid farewell to their 13-game losing streak dating back to last season thanks to their game on Thursday. They managed a 39-34 win over the Walkerville Wildcats. This was a revenge game for the Cougars: when they faced off against the Wildcats last Wednesday, they had to take a 37-35 loss.

Among those leading the charge was Griffin Guernsey, who dropped a double-double on 11 points and 14 rebounds. Another player making a difference was Remmey Carnes, who posted seven points.

Crossroads Charter Academy's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-9. As for Walkerville, their defeat was their sixth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 1-8.
