Softball Recap: Oshkosh West Takes a Loss

If Oshkosh West was riding high fresh off their 20-5 takedown of Appleton North on Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Wildcats came up short against the Fond du Lac Cardinals on Thursday, falling 10-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Wildcats have suffered since April 13, 2024.

Oshkosh West's loss dropped their record down to 5-4. As for Fond du Lac, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 4-2 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Oshkosh West is set to take on their familiar foe Kaukauna at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Fond du Lac will face off against rival Hortonville at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
