Denver North is 9-1 against George Washington since April of 2017 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Monday. The Vikings will be playing at home against the Patriots at 6:45 p.m. Denver North will be strutting in after a win while George Washington will be coming in after a defeat.

On Saturday, Denver North earned a 10-5 victory over Monarch. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Vikings.

George Washington couldn't beat Denver East on Friday even though they stacked four runs on them in the first inning. The Patriots fell just short of the Angels by a score of 8-6.

Luke Wiederholt put in work no matter where he played. He struck out 13 batters over six innings while giving up six earned runs off eight hits (and only one walk). He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than one walk in three consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate, going 1-for-2 with one home run and two RBI.

In other batting news, Adrian Reed made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-4 with one stolen base, one run, and one double. Matt Holliger was another key player, going 2-for-3 with one run and one RBI.

The win got Denver North back to even at 10-10. As for George Washington, they now have a losing record of 8-9.

Denver North came out on top in a nail-biter against George Washington in their previous meeting back in April of 2024, sneaking past 3-2. Will the Vikings repeat their success, or do the Patriots have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
