Volleyball Recap: Flowing Wells Takes a Loss

Flowing Wells was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They fell 2-0 to the Agua Fria Owls.

Daniel Coronado paced Flowing Wells' offense, picking up seven kills. Coronado got some help from Chris Anaya-Ashe and his 11 assists. Anaya-Ashe was also solid from the service line: he led the team with two aces.

Flowing Wells' loss dropped their record down to 10-10. As for Agua Fria, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 13-4.

Flowing Wells wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 2-0 defeat against Sahuaro on the 29th. As for Agua Fria, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-1 loss against Verrado on the 29th.
