Basketball Recap: Pine Plains Comes Up Short

Pine Plains was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They lost 71-51 to the Highland Huskies. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Bombers of the 59-51 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in February of 2024.

Pine Plains' defeat dropped their record down to 3-12. As for Highland, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 8-6.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Pine Plains will square off against Onteora at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Highland, they will take on Millbrook at 5:45 p.m. on Thursday. One thing working in Highland's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last five matches.
