Basketball Recap: Marquette Comes Up Short

Marquette was the 65-37 winner over Dwight when they last played one another back in February, but their luck changed this time around. The Marquette Crusaders fell 60-52 to the Dwight Trojans on Saturday.

Marquette has traveled a rocky road recently having lost six of their last eight games, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-8 record this season. As for Dwight, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 9-5.

Marquette will welcome Earlville at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Dwight, they will head out to face off against Coal City at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
