Softball Recap: Saturday's Win Is Live Oak's Third in Last Four Outings

With a playoff win on the line, Live Oak rose to the challenge on Saturday. They beat the Chalmette Owls by the very same score they won with in their prior game: 8-4. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 8-4 on Thursday.

Live Oak is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 21-15 record this season. As for Chalmette, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 18-11.

Coming up, Live Oak will welcome West Monroe at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Rebels will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something the Eagles surely won't give up without a fight. Chalmette does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
