Recap: Northglenn Norsemen vs. Mountain Range Mustangs
The Northglenn Norsemen's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their seventh straight loss. They were just a bucket shy of victory and fell 58-57 to Mountain Range. Northglenn has not had much luck with Mountain Range recently, as the team's come up short the last four times they've met.
Northglenn lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Jonathan Hernandez, who scored 26 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Hernandez has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Trevor Dean, who scored 13 points.
Leading Mountain Range to victory were Mataeo Jourdan and Preston Brunton. Jourdan scored 20 points along with two steals, while Brunton scored 19 points along with five rebounds and two steals. Quincy Helsel was another key contributor, scoring eight points.
Northglenn dropped their record down to 7-13 with that loss, which was their fourth straight on the road. As for Mountain Range, their win bumped their record up to 9-11.
Northglenn didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 54-48 win vs. Loveland on the 12th. Mountain Range has also already played their next game, a 82-66 defeat against Erie on the 10th.
