Soccer Recap: Fort Bend Travis Comes Up Short

If Fort Bend Travis was riding high fresh off their 6-0 takedown of Fort Bend Hightower last Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Fort Bend Travis Tigers fell 2-0 to the Ridge Point Panthers on Tuesday. While losing is never fun, the Tigers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas soccer rankings (they are ranked 347th, while the Panthers are ranked 28th).

Fort Bend Travis' loss dropped their record down to 6-8. As for Ridge Point, the victory was the ninth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 15-2.

Looking ahead, Fort Bend Travis will take on Fort Bend Elkins at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. As for Ridge Point, they will head out on the road to face off against Fort Bend Bush at 7:15 p.m. on Friday.
