Eastside Catholic tops Evergreen State with four state titles since 2014
Powered by four state titles since 2014,
Eastside Catholic (Sammamish) is the most dominant high school football team from Washington over the last decade.
Based on our methodology, the Crusaders amassed 297 points from play over 2013 to 2022 to edge
Royal (Royal City), which finished second with 231 points.
Eastside Catholic also was runner-up in 2013 and 2022 and finished inside the state top 25 all 10 years, including six finishes in the top five.
Our methodology includes:
• Top 25 finishes in the MaxPreps state computer rankings (25 points awarded to the No. 1 team, 24 for No. 2 and so on).
• Top 25 finishes in the MaxPreps national computer rankings (50 points for No. 1, 49 for No. 2 and so on).
• State championships (20 points).
• State championship game appearances (10 points).
