The Southern Columbia Area Tigers waltzed into their matchup on Monday with four straight wins but they left with five. They walked away with a 53-40 win over Marian Catholic. For Southern Columbia Area, this counts as revenge for the 60-52 loss Marian Catholic walked away with the last time they faced one another back in January of 2023.

Loss or not, Marian Catholic got some senior leadership from Julius Currie who scored 15 points and Jacob Miller who scored ten points along with two steals. James Rodino was another key contributor, scoring four points.

Southern Columbia Area has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 7-3 record this season. As for Marian Catholic, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 8-7.
