Volleyball Recap: Riverside Takes a Loss

Riverside was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 25th straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 3-0 to the Miami East Vikings. The Pirates were not able to make up for their loss to the Vikings from their previous meeting back in October of 2024.

The final score came out to 25-13, 25-8, 25-10.

Riverside's defeat dropped their record down to 0-8. As for Miami East, the victory (which was their eighth in a row) raised their record to 8-2.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Riverside will square off against rival Covington at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Miami East is set to challenge their familiar foe Bethel at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
