While Mt. Pleasant's victory against Greensburg Salem wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Vikings sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 1-0 win over the Golden Lions on Thursday. Mt. Pleasant haven't had any issues with Greensburg Salem recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive victory against them.

Mt. Pleasant's one-goal win came courtesy of Grant Zahrobsky, who's now up to 12 this season.

Mt. Pleasant's win bumped their record up to 11-4. As for Greensburg Salem, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-9 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Mt. Pleasant will challenge rival Waynesburg Central at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Greensburg Salem is set to square off against their familiar foe Brownsville at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
