Volleyball Recap: Gonzales Comes Up Short

Gonzales was the 2-1 winner over Brazos when they last played one another back in August of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Apaches fell just short of the Cougars by a score of 2-1 on Friday. The Apaches have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Gonzales' defeat dropped their record down to 2-14. As for Brazos, they moved to 8-9 with that win, which also ended their six-game losing streak.

Coming up, Gonzales will face off against Hallettsville at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Brazos, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 victory against Non Varsity Tournament Opponent on the 23rd.
