Soccer Recap: Palmetto Takes a Loss

After some red-hot attacks on offense in their last four games, Palmetto finally came back down to earth on Monday. They came up short against the Powdersville Patriots, falling 3-0. If the Mustangs were looking for revenge after losing 11-0 to the Patriots when the teams met back in April of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Palmetto's defeat dropped their record down to 3-3. As for Powdersville, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-0.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Palmetto will face off against St. Joseph's Catholic at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Powdersville, they will square off against Greenville H at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Greenville H's last three matchups have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
