Volleyball Recap: Tracy Comes Up Short

For some reason, the away team has come away with the win the last five times Tracy and West have met, but the home crowd finally got their W on Tuesday. The Bulldogs came up short against the Wolfpack, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Wolfpack this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-1 on April 3rd.

The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 25-13, 25-21.

Nicolas Hidalgo paced Tracy's offense, picking up six kills. Hidalgo got some help from Carson Gates-Cecilio and his ten assists. Finally, Gates-Cecilio was also a dominant defender, finishing with a team-high three blocks.

Tracy's loss dropped their record down to 5-7. As for West, the victory was the eighth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 15-6.

Tracy does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for West, they have already played their next match, a 3-0 defeat against Laguna Creek on the 30th.
