Brush's game on Tuesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Thursday. They skirted past the Silver Creek Raptors 3-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Beetdiggers have posted since September 25th.

Brush took Silver Creek into a fifth set where they got it done with a six-point win. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 20-25, 26-24, 25-18, 23-25, 15-9.

Neveah Speicher paced Brush's offense, picking up 12 kills. Speicher got some help from Taryn Wickham and her 18 assists. Wickham was also solid from the service line: she led the team with eight aces.

Brush has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 10-13 record this season. As for Silver Creek, their loss dropped their record down to 6-13.

Coming up, after both having extra time off, Brush and Centauri will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 2:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Silver Creek, they have already played their next match, a 2-1 defeat against Brighton on the 1st.
