Basketball Recap: Glenn Comes Up Short

Glenn was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They had to suffer through a 55-24 loss at the hands of the Freeland Falcons. While losing is never fun, the Bobcats can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Michigan basketball rankings (they are ranked 285th, while the Falcons are ranked 23rd).

Glenn's defeat dropped their record down to 7-9. As for Freeland, their win was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 13-3.

Coming up, a feisty cat fight will be fought when the Bobcats take on the Bearcats at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Freeland, they will head out on the road to take on Swan Valley at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Swan Valley has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
