Basketball Recap: Tiger Knowles Leads a Balanced Attack to Beat Lennox Academy

Wildwood won the last time they faced Lennox Academy and things went their way on Wednesday too. The Wildwood Wolves walked away with a 48-37 win over the Lennox Academy Panthers. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Wolves.

Wildwood got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Tiger Knowles out in front who went 6 of 8 on his way to 16 points. Jack Colton also deserves some recognition as he scored his first points of the season.

Wildwood was working as a unit and finished the game with 16 assists. That's the most assists they've managed all season.

Wildwood's win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 5-9. As for Lennox Academy, their loss was their sixth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 2-12.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Wildwood will welcome New Roads at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for Lennox Academy, they will host California Academy of Math & Science at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
