Basketball Recap: North Eugene Takes a Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact North Eugene can now relate to. They received a blow on Friday as they fell 61-42 to the Eagle Point Eagles. The Highlanders were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Eagles earlier this season, when they won 41-38.

North Eugene has also been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 10-12 record this season. Eagle Point's win bumped their record up to 13-9.

Coming up, North Eugene will be playing at home against Springfield at 5:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Eagle Point, they will square off against Ashland at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
