Baseball Recap: Bishop Foley Comes Up Short

Bishop Foley lost against Lake Shore back in March of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Ventures came up short against the Shorians, falling 9-2. The Ventures have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Bishop Foley saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Mason Kanar, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base and one run.

Bishop Foley now has a losing record of 7-8. As for Lake Shore, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-7 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Bishop Foley will square off against Plymouth Christian Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Lake Shore, they will face off against Cousino at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
