After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Covina, Mayfair was happy to have turned things around on Monday. They walked away with a 7-3 victory over the Norwalk Lancers. The Monsoons have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Lancers, too.

Mayfair's win bumped their record up to 6-7. As for Norwalk, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-7-1 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Mayfair will welcome Downey at 3:15 p.m. on Tuesday. The Vikings will roll in looking for their sixth straight victory, something the Monsoons surely won't give up without a fight. As for Norwalk, they will host Dominguez at 3:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
