Littleton fell victim to Steamboat Springs and their airtight defense on Saturday. They took a 12-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Sailors. The Lions' defeat signaled the end of their five-game winning streak.

Littleton didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off five passes before the game was over. Ava Martin led the group effort, picking up three of those interceptions all by herself.

Littleton's loss dropped their record down to 7-6. As for Steamboat Springs, they moved to 4-6 with that victory, which also ended their three-game losing streak.

Littleton wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 36-6 defeat against Green Mountain on the 8th. As for Steamboat Springs, they have also already played their next contest, a 7-0 win against Standley Lake on the 4th.
