Tree of Life Christian had already won four in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 24.8 points) and they went ahead and made it five on Tuesday. They strolled past the Elgin Comets with points to spare, taking the game 60-44. Given the Trojans' advantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 291st, while the Comets are ranked 741st), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Tree of Life Christian's victory was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 7-1. As for Elgin, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-8.
